Extension Factory Website Privacy Policy

This Policy applies to the Extension Factory website. It does not apply to our browser extensions (which are covered by their own privacy policies) or to any third-party websites or services that may be linked from the Site, including the Google Chrome Web Store.

We do not ask visitors to the Site for personal information, and we do not require registration to browse it. We do not use advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

The public pages of the Site do not set cookies. A single strictly-necessary cookie ("admin_session") is set only when the site operator signs in to the private administration area; it exists solely to keep that operator session and is never set for ordinary visitors and never used for tracking.

The Site is hosted on a third-party cloud platform (Vercel). As is standard for web hosting, the platform may automatically process limited technical information — such as IP address, request time, and browser user-agent — in server logs for security, abuse-prevention, and reliability. This processing is performed by the hosting provider as part of operating the Site and is subject to the provider's own policies; we do not use this information to identify or track you, and we do not combine it with any other data.

Our browser extensions are local-first and keep your data on your device. Each extension is covered by its own privacy policy, available from that extension's page on the Site. Please refer to the relevant extension's policy for details about that product.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA. Because the Site collects no personal information from visitors, there is ordinarily no visitor data for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question or request, contact us at maroonark@gmail.com and we will respond consistent with applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent that mandatory laws of your place of residence apply.
