Frequently asked questions
Only in your browser. Every term, course, score and setting lives in `chrome.storage.local` on your device — nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
No. Gradely never logs into or reads any learning-management system. You enter your categories and scores yourself, which is exactly why it works with any school and keeps everything private.
For the part of your grade that isn't graded yet, Gradely solves for the average score you'd need on the rest to hit your target — and tells you the best grade still possible. Leave an assignment's score blank to count it as "remaining". It's all computed locally.
Yes. In Settings you can edit every letter band (percentage cut-off and GPA points), choose unweighted / weighted / percentage GPA, and set the bump for Honors, AP, IB and College classes.
`storage` keeps your gradebook on your device; `sidePanel` powers the Grade Goal planner; `commands` registers optional keyboard shortcuts. The single host permission (`factory-chrome-extensions.vercel.app`) is used only to fetch the Support-button display-config and sends no personal data.
Settings → Export a JSON backup, then Import it on the other device. You can also export your current grades to CSV for a spreadsheet.
